ABOUT
A new approach to finding treatments for rare diseases
In the UK, more than 3.2 million people are affected by a rare disease. Of the 7000+ rare diseases that we know of, 95% don’t have any treatment options.
Aspire Biosciences wants to change that. Based in Cambridge, within Europe's largest life-sciences cluster, we work tirelessly to give hope to rare disease patients and their loved ones.
We find new treatments for unaddressed rare diseases through our innovative methodology called Systematic Serendipity, which creates working partnerships between patient groups and R&D companies.
How it works
01
We build teams of patient group representatives and their clinical and scientific advisors
02
We guide the patient group teams on data collection, discovery and development
03
We introduce companies and relevant assets to patient group teams, generating further opportunities until a match is found
04
We nurture the working partnership and remain involved as much as needed
